Mystery Movie Mini-Thon 5

For as long as I can remember, I had wanted to host a movie marathon on my birthday. With your help, this is the fifth time that I have been able to make it a reality. From 6:30 PM to close, on January 22nd, 2022, I will be hosting a mystery movie mini-thon consisting of two movies and a few fun trailers and shorts in between the films. The atmosphere is loose and the venue is accommodating so you will not be forced to sit during the whole event.

Well that is the fun part. The movies will be kept secret until they begin. Not knowing is half the battle.

I know what you are saying. Are you going to force me to sit through two horrible movies?

Maybe. The movies are not overly gory nor overly foreign and for the most part fairly accessible. I try to keep the movies somewhat obscure but they did screen in actual theaters. Just a warning – the movies may be rated R so you may see Adult Situations projected in a large format.

Literally anyone and everyone. We need a goodly number of people to come to this event to make it possible so please invite anyone else who you think might enjoy coming or people you dislike who you think would not enjoy the event at all. Kids are welcome as well but keep in mind that the movies are intended for mature audiences only and viewer discretion is advised. The more people we have at the event, the more we can raise for the Reel House.

Access to the event, two movies, food stuffs, and the “pleasure” of my company and the company of friends.

Drinks (alcoholic and non) are available for purchase at the concession stand/bar. The Grand Berry also has popcorn/candy/other snacks available for purchase. No one is allowed to bring in drinks and doing so can get us ousted from the venue.

Honestly, I know it may seem silly hosting this event is so much fun and a dream of mine and being able to keep it going year after year has been great. Being able to give back to local kids is the cherry on top. I thank you for even reading this and considering attending. I do hope to see you there in January.
